The group has tried various crafts over the years - pressed flower cards, embroidery, knitting, decoupage, papercraft and more.
We have made Christmas decorations, the animals of the Chinese Zodiac, commemorated a Diamond Jubilee and a Coronation and contributed to the Yarn bombing in the town and decorated Christmas trees in St Oswald's Church on behalf of u3a
There is easy access to the Wyaston Centre for wheel chair users.

We have reached days 4 and 5 of this Christmas Folk Song:
4 Calling/Colly (depending on which version you sing) Birds
and 5 Golden Rings.
Jill has 3 shades of grey felt and some black felt - or you may wish to provide your own.

Stranded embroidery threads
An embroidery needle with a sharp point, scissors, pins and a pen to mark out the pattern on the felt.
