The Twelve Days of Christmas

At the November meeting we made some felt Christmas tree decorations from Cynthia's book - the 12 days of Christmas. We are started with a partridge and a pear.  It was decided to make this a long-term project and an annual event. Next November we will make Three French Hens - and so on.

Items required:
Felt
Stranded embroidery threads
An embroidery needle with a sharp point, scissors, pins and  a pen to mark out the pattern on the felt.

To make the stalk roll the rectangular piece of felt and hold it together by stitching it. Add the leaf by pinching it at the bottom and sewing it onto the stalk.
Use either ribbon or cord to make a hanging. Attach this to the plain piece of felt. Attach the stalk before sewing and stuffing the pear.
