Our Monthly Open Meetings are for all current members, visitors and people who want to find out more about Ashbourne & District u3a.
They are currently held at the Elim Church Waterside Centre, Clifton Road, Ashbourne, DE6 1DG on the first Friday of the month - unless this coincides with a public holiday.
Doors are open at 2 pm.
This is followed by a talk given by a guest speaker on a subject of general interest.
This part of the meeting starts a 2.30 pm.
After the meeting tea and coffee are served and there is time for socialising.
The only exception is August when we have no Monthly Meetings and in its place is a special event.
Doors will be open from 2 pm at the earliest. The cost is £2.

Our other main monthly event is our New-Members Drop-in Coffee Morning which is on the 3rd Monday of the month 10.30 to 11.30 am now at the The Hug and Heave, 33, St John Street, Market Place, DE6 1GP. It's primarily an opportunity for new members to meet up and ask questions, but existing members are most welcome, too. A couple of committee members will be present and they will have our website and 'What's On' calendar available to view, internet permitting.
