Join us for an instructed one hour rock climbing taster session at Alter Rock, Derby.

The instructor is responsible for all the safety equipment and training leaving you to concentrate solely on the climbing. Support and encouragement will be given by other GIG members.

This activity is open to everyone, the only medical requirement would be that any participants are able to take their body weight through their waist/thighs as that is where the harness will be fitted - those with severe arthritis in their hands or other serious hand/arm issues may struggle but they are more than welcome to give it a go.

Car share will be encouraged.
