The Peak Pilgrimage

The Peak Pilgrimage is a long distance footpath of about 40 miles from Ilam to Eyam, and was devised by the Rector of Eyam in 2015 to commemorate 350 years since the Great Plague. More details can be found on the website www.peakpilgrimage.org.uk. A guide book is available from the website. It is not essential for each walker to have their own copy, but we will visit the churches which we pass en route, getting our stamps and verses to put in the in book as a record of our achievement. On completion we were given a 'reward' at Eyam church.

We completed the Peak Pilgrimage over 4 walks in 2016/2017, and hope, at some stage, to tackle another long distance path.
