3 mile walk along the disused railway track from Alton Village Hall car park. Descend into the Churnet Valley along narrow lanes to join the track to Denstone. Refreshments at Denstone Farm Shop. This is a good time to visit the Farm Shop as they are have all their Christmas stock on display.

Meet at The Range end of Waterside to car share and leave at 1.00p.m. prompt for Alton. Karen will leave a car at Denstone and take drivers back to Alton to collect their cars. Drivers can then collect their passengers from The Farm Shop.
