This is not a beginners' group, but still caters for a wide selection of abilities. So some members need to prepare what they are intending to say, while others can "speak off the cuff". We usually have a theme for each session, which allows everyone to revise or learn some relevant vocabulary.

During the session we have some conversation, either as a whole group, or in smaller sub-groups or pairs, do some listening exercises and other activities, do some grammar, and for those who wish to, read a book.

Anyone is welcome to a taster session but should contact the group leader Vivien Tiano before attending a session to find out what we will be doing on that date.
