This friendly and welcoming group is for anyone with an interest in looking at art, discussing it and learning more about art and artists.

We meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 2 - 4pm at Yeldersley Hall, DE6 1LS. The emphasis is on looking at paintings and their painters, and listening to the comments of experts on DVD or through PowerPoint presentations. This is followed by an informal discussion. We also occasionally have a "show and tell" session where members are invited to bring an original picture, a print reproduction, postcard or artefact to the meeting for discussion. Visits to galleries and other venues exhibiting works of art may also be arranged from time to time if there is sufficient interest.

Anyone who likes looking at Art and would like to learn more about it in an easy and painless way is welcome. No prior knowledge or expertise is required or expected.
