This year the Walk Festival will have some exciting, interesting and intriguing walks taking place from Friday 26 April to Monday 6 May 2024, so if they're not there already get the dates in your diary.  We're starting to add walks to walk calendar, and will be adding more over the coming days and weeks.

As well as the walks there will also be some "fringe" events, maybe some climbing or perhaps a talk or two relating to the great outdoors.

The Staffordshire Moorlands Walking Festival restarted in 2022.  Both 2022 and 2023's festivals were great successes. Both saw  600 locals and visitors enjoying 40 plus walks put on by a variety of local organisations and businesses; showcasing what a great place the Staffordshire Moorlands is to walk and to visit.

The Staffordshire Moorlands are a perfect stay for local markets, delicious restaurants and traditional country pubs.

We warmly welcome you whether you are local or a visitor to the area. Our guides and walk leaders are proud of the Staffordshire Moorlands and passionate about sharing them with you.

We're putting walks onto the website as we get the information from our fabulous partners.  There will be a choice of walks every day.

*Please note there may be a small fee or cost for a few events but that will be clear when booking or on the lis.

Depending upon how you are viewing this website you may see a list of dates at the top of the page, or you may see the "hamburger" menu (three lines) - which will take you to a menu with each day of the festival. Click on each to see details of the walks on offer on a particular day.
