Our very own Doug Billings has Volunteered to organise and lead this walk as the Walking Group Leader is away on holiday.
A circular walk with step styles over stone walls. Most of the styles are early in the walk. There are no steep hills but there is a steady climb through Flagg.
Anti-clockwise, the walk starts on a footpath next to the car park and heads across fields to Flagg where we go uphill through the village on the pavement. Another footpath leads us to the Pennine Bridleway which eventually crosses the main road to join the High Peak Trail which we follow to a further footpath leading to the main road again and pub on the other side.
Parking is available in the pub car park. The Duke of York Inn is 16 miles / 25 minutes drive from Ashbourne
