Approximate 4.5 mile Circular walk over disused quarry area, heather moorlands (Stanton Moor) NE of Birchover, passing Cork & King Stones & Nine Ladies Circle before turning south to Barn Farm & west to Rocking Stone Farm & Druid Inn for lunch. Spectacular views. Moderate gradients & one potentially muddy area. Some stiles. Total ascent 714 ft.

Starting Point: Approx. 10.15am from The Druid Inn, Birchover (Postcode DE4 2BL) (OS ref SK 236 621) after arrival of car pool. Parking is available in the pub car park.

This walk was last walked by us in January 2022, so we will do it this time in summer for different conditions and views. And to test our memory!!
